Prince Fawaz Muhammad(born 13th November, 1997) is a scion of the Ikelebe Royal Family of Auchi Kingdom. A family that embodies a legacy of leadership, service, and commitment to community development
From his early upbringing, Fawaz has been instilled with the values of integrity, compassion, and social responsibility.
In 2015, Fawaz embarked on his academic journey at Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Building. In 2019, during his tenure, he emerged as a proactive student leader, distinguishing himself as Chairman of the Transport Committee and member of several other committees in the Students’ Representatives Council which is the Students’ Union Government Legislative Arm. His tenure was marked by visionary leadership and a relentless pursuit of initiatives to improve student welfare and campus shuttle services
In November 5 2022, he embarked on his National Youth Service Corps program in Asaba, Delta state.
Driven by a passion for civic engagement and social impact, Fawaz has actively contributed to various local and international organizations as a dedicated volunteer. Notably, he served as a Development Knowledge Facilitator (DKF) during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, where he was involved in community development initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Fawaz’s advocacy for SDGs 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 16 (Peace Justice, and Strong Institutions) underscores his commitment to fostering sustainable development, inclusive growth, and peacebuilding in his community and beyond.
A passionate advocate for professional excellence and continuous learning, Fawaz is a proud member of several professional bodies, including the Nigeria Institute of Building, Chartered Institute of Building, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Project Management Institute, among others. He has been a site supervisor at Litec Construction Company Ltd. He was a social media manager at Boldion Ltd from December 2021 to June 2022.
In addition to his professional and political engagements, Fawaz has dedicated himself to various community outreach initiatives, including campaigns against drug abuse, distribution of learning materials in secondary schools, organising town hall meetings, and prolific writing of articles to raise awareness on social issues and promote positive change.
In addition to his advocacy work, Fawaz has gained valuable experience in construction project management through his roles at Litec Construction Company Ltd and Boldion Building Services Ltd, where he has demonstrated a strong aptitude for strategic thinking, innovation, and effective communication.
Prince Fawaz also holds the esteemed position of General Chairman of his age group, the Auchi Okpa Age Group which boasts of more than 500 members across the world. This honor was bestowed upon him based on his competence and the love his age mates have for him, further attesting to his leadership abilities and widespread respect within his community.
Fawaz’s multifaceted experiences, unwavering dedication to service, and visionary leadership make him a compelling candidate for the position of Speaker of the Edo State Youth Parliament. With his proven track record of leadership and advocacy, Fawaz is poised to be a transformative leader who will inspire and empower the youth of Edo State to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the development of our society.
